1. Change extension of your html files to .php extension.
Instant Update is written in PHP, which is server side language, and most of web servers are configured to process PHP language only in files which have .php extension. If you have .html pages on your website we suggest you to rename all those files and change their extension to .php.  That is very simple just replace .html end of the file with .php (or use your favorite editor to save file properly). We know that sometimes this is impossible because it would break all your links. Our tech support team can help you avoid this problem and we have software that will do this for you automatically.

2. Add few lines of code to the beginning of your HTML source.
Instant Update header might seem complex to understand, and that's why we introduced IUConvert application (you will receive this application for free) to automatically add this PHP code to all you pages. Instant Update header should be placed at the very beginning of your page, before anything else. The code that needs to be inserted looks like this:

3. Add one line to the bottom of your HTML source.
To add Instant Update footer to your pages just open your files and search for </body> HTML tag. When you find it, add following code one line above it:

<?php WriteFooter(); ?>

4. Tell our script where new content should be located.
To do this login into your Instant Update control panel and click on Add New Content. After that simply add this code [content]YourNewContentName[/content] where new content should be placed. If you go to edit source files section of the Instant Update CMS control panel you will see how we added new content.
